When you complete a contact, callback or newsletter form we collect your name, email address, telephone number, preferred callback time and the message you send. Our server also records basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type for security purposes.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide insurance quotations and services you request, send newsletters you subscribed to, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS).
Sharing your information
Where you ask us to arrange cover, we share the necessary details with insurers and underwriting managers. We do not sell your personal information. Service providers who host our website or email are bound by confidentiality.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure, including restricted access and secure hosting. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive documents through web forms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Records relating to financial services are kept for the periods required by FAIS.
